  The Ladies of Fidelis
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone." - 1 Cor. 12:4-6 (ESV)

Fidelis, a woman's group at Immanuel, is committed to Christian Service. Throughout the year, we are busy with projects dedicated to furthering God's Gospel and following Christ's example. We provide a Nursery for babies and very young children during worship services, prepare luncheons and suppers throughout the year for members and friends, donate cards and bonnets for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital, donate baby clothes to a local women's resource center, decorate the church, give Christmas gifts to our Missionary family, send cheerful Sunshine cards and notes to shut-ins and others with a variety of needs, arrange Christmas caroling, an annual church picnic, and held annual bazaars to fund a variety of needs in the church and as an outreach from our church family to the neighborhood.
In all, we meet on a monthly basis, usually the third Thursday of each month, for fellowship and friendly support. These meetings are usually held at one of our homes or in Fellowship Hall at the church in the evening, where two women serve as hostesses and another presents devotions drawn from Scripture which relate to our lives as Christian women. Young girls are included as a part of our meetings, and we occasionally have men from our congregation present the devotion.
We are an especially friendly and harmonious group, and we have lots of fun together. We welcome women from the community to join us in our service to God through our activities. Please contact us if you would like more details.
