On October 2, 1938, the doors of Immanuel Presbyterian Church were opened. On May 13, 1942, the church received affiliation with the Presbytery of New Jersey as a particular congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, becoming known as Immanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Over 70 years later, Immanuel OPC maintains the Biblical truths found in the Reformation and summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
